Re: A Presidential Encounter

Bill Clinton is the ultimate celebrity. As tasteless as asking for autographs at a funeral may be I can see Bill totally being understand and receptive to it unless it's an out of this world type tragedy how the person died.

Re: CSA Show at Chantilly March 29-31, 2019

Pedro Sierra is the :virgil: of this show. He must live in the area. I believe he lives in New Jersey but he does these shows every time I guess. I go to the Bowie Baysox baseball tribute to negro league teams and he was a regular every year until 2014 or so. I know CSA used to, under old owners, c...

Re: 4 figures for a signed Andre the Giant card

[ That's why authentication services are bogus. You're paying for an opinion. Sadly these opinions help sell the item. Let's see some photos of your buddy's authenticated Andres. [/quote] It's no one I know personally and I don't know which site I originally saw the items on. Google images will pro...

Re: WrestleCon- April 5-6, 2019- New York, NY

Jimmy's ill health was probably the biggest factor in him not doing anything. Unless there was a huge public backlash about Nancy Argentino's death I can't see him stopping signings or matches for any reason other than poor health. Jimmy would always be a part of wrestling until he passed away. And ...

Re: 4 figures for a signed Andre the Giant card

Andre had pretty good handwriting and his autograph was always pretty consistent in the quality. This is slightly messier, but still nice, since it's a smaller item. Most signed items of his that come on market are pieces of paper (pre-heel run where he became nasty to fans) but still not a lot come...

Re: First NYC endeavor of 2019

I'll never understand how Matthew became a popular, or bankable, actor*** but photo looks good enough. He looks not all there, kind of "high" which is usually how his acting comes off to me. The only movies I've ever seen him in are the ones the gym shows in their cardio movie theater and I won't st...

Someone on facebook posted a few pics with Henry taking a table photo with him, not an over the table quick handshake and also the guy got a signed baseball done.

Re: Street Photo of Year

Russell Crowe as John Goodman was a cool one. In the past all I've seen are "group shots" with Russell. James Earl Jones is great. I believe class is the only one I've seen prior to this, at least from the past few years. Also Warren Beatty. I've read he's nice and approachable but to me, you just d...

Re: Project of the year nominations

Lots of good ones. That WrestleMania poster is pretty awesome.
I would say the Charmed book not just because of all the signatures but the story behind it for Steven and how much the show and the women mean to him!

Definitely AJ. Anytime someone goes to great lengths to meet someone that you may never see at a convention, that should definitely be a winner.

Did AJ also meet Killer Khan or was that Bobby?

I believe the girl named Mattingly had met Don before. There was a video I saw on facebook where she met him at a stadium before the game when he was Dodgers manager.

Glad you had a great experience. He seems like an easy going, nice guy.

Re: Ed Asner

Ed is such a great autograph signer. He's consistently signed authentically for years. He was my first ttm back in 2000 and I also have a few handwritten responses from him. He also is very sharp for his age and writes creative inscriptions, usually different for different items, on each item. He di...

Re: Big Event 16, March 9, 2019, Queens, NY

Believe it or not, sometime between wcw closing and her going to wwe, she did an interview where she said if you want an autograph pic just send $20 to such and such address. I did that and got a personalized pic back. I still have it. I'm sure her combo will be pricey so maybe I just get a pic sin...

Re: Post Your "Behind the Scenes" Photos!!

Here's a rather unique video. Jerry Seinfeld signs autographs and when doing so never does photo ops. Towards the end the infamous Josh Greenberg offers Jerry $50 for a photo op. Jerry actually verbally agrees to it but ignores the request otherwise. You can see Josh attempting for the photo op aft...
