Great report. It's cool you change shirts for different people.
I regret not getting photos with Torrie and Stacy years ago. They both did several separate signings in my area and were super nice.

Re: pre digital awesome/iconic photos involving celebrities
This was from a June 2001 sports convention in Virginia. The promoter sold tickets for Virgil and Sheik online but both guys (Sheik with an agent) went into business for themselves and just charged at the table. So if you pre ordered from the promoter, you went and got a refund. Not sure if they wer...

Charo did a convention before, in California. I think Hollywood Show. IIRC Todd Fulkerson met her.

I look forward to your guys reports on meeting her. She was from Baltimore and I guess because she was local, WWF sent her on a few signings in the early 2000s. She did a 7-11 signing not 5 miles from me, with Test. She did a health expo with a relative newcomer Batista at the Baltimore convention c...

Re: Big Event VS Chiller: Who You Got?
2005 or 2006 had a Wrestling Reunion show in New Jersey the same Saturday as a Chiller. I can't remember how far they were from each other, maybe 15-20 minutes. They had Afa and Bruno at the show and a lot of 1980s, 90s tv stars. I came later so the crowd was smaller and you could spend time with th...

Re: Big Event VS Chiller: Who You Got?
I've very interested to see what the back story is. I don't think you normally see things like this in conventions. I do also feel like it's a petty factor, like Big Event has their own massive show and in a sense, a brand.

Re: Pre-Social Media Celebrity Hunting Photos
From WWF magazine
I remember Nikolai telling me Sheik loved signing autographs and so much that they would be close to missing a plane. So this picture doesn't surprise me. When I asked why Andre hated Sheik, he told me because Sheik hated Andre for turning down a kid or kids for autograph.

Re: Marked out in Memoriam: Todd Fulkerson
I knew Todd for over 20 years from his site, getting autos through him and the Star Archive/Tiger message board. We still conversed on facebook though more rarely over the last few years. I posted this on another board, I could go on about Todd for days. I was just thinking a few days ago about our ...

Re: This is why I will never really trust autograph I don't get in person
Sadly this is pretty common with signed books and CD sales. Companies are generally advertising some of the toughest signers or most popular who simply won't or don't want to sign 1000s of items. Dylan himself is probably THE worse celebrity I've seen a book company tout as signing so I was sure in ...

Re: My best meet of 2022 after many failures!
Someone posted on a Plains, Trains facebook getting a photo with Steve a few years ago in Ireland. Looks like he was a lot easier for that guy than you. Probably likes it better out of states. His pre order signed books are coming back from Barnes & Noble. They are hand signed but only signed &q...

Re: My best meet of 2022 after many failures!
This is pretty awesome. Steve is notorious for disliking any kind of fan interaction. I'm surprised he does any kind of organized book signing and that he would even do photo ops. His mail has always been ghost signed since I've been collecting though somehow a book I sent him got passed along for a...

Re: Celebrities with odd autograph rules
Rod Carew is pretty similar to Randy, at least he was in the past. His rule was no single signed jerseys. I believe the reasoning from both guys is that they reserve single signed jerseys for charity donations to get a higher price. I feel like if they've done signings for decades and didn't have th...

Re: MAB Celebrity Signing/Send-In's
I don't think you're alone there. If you don't need the item you sent in, yeah I would definitely dispute the charge. Whats her name, who ran MAB, I've heard is gone, she was bought out or something. Her name is Mollie Ann Bracigliano, she used to post on signingshotline board about her shows. I'm ...
