Re: Interesting Aretha Franklin Experience

Wow, that is cool! I'm seeing some good reports about her doing autographs (but not posed photos) on facebook memorials. What especially stands out in your post is her using your cousins name when speaking to him. She seems old school with class but as for her diva behavior, maybe it's just people o...

Sole survivor

Truly baffling how many Jake Roberts and Scott Hall have outlived
I imagine if they hadn't gotten the help when they received it, things might be different. Those two are living miracles of the human body and spirit.

Another tough loss but at least we have the memories.

Re: ICW meets Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Melina

Cool meets. Davey Jr's autograph is very similar to his fathers. The WWE E one looks a bit neater but the other ones you posted are a little messier and look just like the ones of his father that I've seen.

Re: Hazzard County Comes to Steel City Con

Nice! Catherine Bach had some of the longest lines when I was there on Friday. Tom Wopat was sitting at his booth playing guitar and singing. It was weird seeing the disparity in the lines - Bach had the consistently longest (she came down later than the guys, but she never really burned through he...

Nikolai Volkoff tribute

As a few of you may know I was personal friends with Nikolai. I first was introduced to Nikolai through Jimmy Valiant (who I met traveling through Virginia to see family). We became fast friends and it has been a true joy to know him, to love him and for him to love me. The last few days have been s...

Awesome meet! Cool you had a private opportunity with her.
I wonder what the lowest turnout to a public signing is? In 2001 I met Bob Feller at a strange sports complex and I got there early and was the only person at the time. Not sure if he ever had other people show up.

Re: Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Tom Bailey and more in DC/MD

Great photo op with Tom, as others have pointed out! Even the one where he's signing for you is great. His facial expression looks like you guys are in a personal, intense discussion. Tom is one of the few celebrities who, when I first started autographs in 2000, has pretty much stayed true to his g...

They didn't specify WWE hall, so I'm guessing Lawrence Taylor.

Re: Legends Of The Ring 26 (billybatson)

Rock N Roll are definitely two of THE nicest guys. I talked to Ricky on the phone a few years ago and if not for the mentioning all of his booking dates he just conversed like an old pal. I met them at an indy show a few years ago. Ricky told a story about being with a few other NWA guys in the 80s ...

Re: Big Bully Busick has reportedly passed away

All accounts had him as a really good guy, from both fan and wrestler perspectives. Really cool just how well known he was for how short a time he was in WWF. I thought the Bully character had longer life. He would be just as good as a Skinner or Berzerker or Repo Man but I guess he just wanted to m...

Re: CSA Show and other meets around CSA show

I'm not sure, I know CSA used to be awesome with table photo ops in early 2000s but by mid 2000s (with old staff) they were starting to get away from it unless the player who super friendly and from my experience it was a combination of an unfriendly player or an unfriendly staff member with a so-so...

Awesome meets!
Any idea why Tommy Rich wasn't with the other FBI guys, he played "Big Don Tommy Rich" who I think was the manager of the group.

Re: CSA Show and other meets around CSA show

Definitely sweet photos! Especially sweet score with Pete Rose considering he is one of those "all about the money" types. I get you don't know Dan Marino and Joe Namath from their sports fame (it's admirable you like them for their lesser known roles) but they are huge names in sports. Namath is ge...

Incidentally, he was my first ever celebrity photo op.
When and where did you get him?

I met him at 2003 World of Wheels but either the photo never took or I've lost it as I remember shaking his hand in the photo but I cant find it.
Next year 2004 was R. Lee Ermey. Both really nice guys.
