Re: Wrestling's New Heel, "The Progressive Liberal"

So many cheap heat possibilities: -Gets pinned in a match, at the next show he files an injunction for a "recount" of the 1-2-3. -Accuses the babyface authority figure of colluding with the Russians, leading to Nikolai Volkoff getting booked against him at the next show. -Claims to "identify as a bl...

Re: Steel City Con (summer)-August 11-13, 2017-Monroeville, PA

When I got him at SuperMegafest, Burt's graph line moved pretty swiftly and was well organized. It was similar to how MJF was set up at WW last year - you gave your stuff to the handler sitting next to him, the handler asked you what color pen you wanted and where you wanted the graph, handler hande...

I can't imagine they normally sell out of photo ops, but you never know. And if you're in for all three days anyway, even though Burt is Sat. only, I would guess that if you go in when they open on Friday, buy your Burt graphs then for his Saturday session, you should be fine.

Re: Steel City Con (summer)-August 11-13, 2017-Monroeville, PA

I don't know about graphs and photo ops, but once you know you're definitely attending, I would DEFINITELY pre-buy your admission and not count on buying at the door. One show I drove up for opening time on Saturday, and they were already sold out for the day, so I had to stay over and get a ticket ...

Re: Hey Now, Crispin has LOST his Religion!

Actually, no, Tom would sign BTTF if paid, he simply chose not to do any paid signings or conventions. Remember ANOTHER part of his act was that he hated conventions! Ha ha ha! I also think his signing rate was a bit high, if I recall. It might still be, who knows? In addition, Wilson has rarely do...

Re: Hey Now, Crispin has LOST his Religion!

Tom worked that as part of his act, plus he seems like a nickel and dimer, so he probably got fed up of free loaders, too. True, but the baffling part is, up until recently he wouldn't sign BTTF stuff even if you DID offer to pay him! Yet, he would apparently sign anything else (April Fool's Day, F...

Re: Hey Now, Crispin has LOST his Religion!

The point is Glover has been EXTREMELY fair to fans at his presentations for years now. He doesn't have to be. Many other actors would refuse to sign BTTF merch after being treated poorly by producers. Hell Wilson refuses and made millions off the franchise! This always baffled me - before I really...

Re: Hey Now, Crispin has LOST his Religion!

When I say "Fans", I mean people who are like "Wow, I loved BTTF, and I'd really like to meet Crispin someday", not the types who are more "Well, I'll be hitting up the Crispin Glover spot at 11, then heading over to the XYZ Hotel to see if anybody famous is coming in or out, hitting the regular NYC...

Re: Things I Love...

Once again, bigman is not the first, and most definitely will not be the last, person driven off the board by one person's stupidity. When so much of the drama and BS around here pretty much ALWAYS involves the same person, that person is the problem. You can criticize people for responding to his t...

Re: Hey Now, Crispin has LOST his Religion!

If a celeb has been around a while, they can fairly easily pick out sellers/dealers from actual fans. The problem is, the dealers (and the obsessed pokemon guys) have no lives outside of the hobby, so in most settings, those guys make up the majority of the people that are following the celebs from ...

Re: Monster Mania 38 Con- September 29-October 1, 2017- Hunt Valley, MD

C.J. Graham (Jason Voorhies.. doing in costume photo ops) added If they get me there, and I haven't gotten that op at another show by then, I'd definitely get this. The problem is, they haven't been getting me there with anything else lately, and it's tough to justify driving all the way down there...
