They targeted Salt Lake because Salt Lake apparently parked a car, advertising Salt Lake Comic Con outside of SDCC.
That's bad business.

Re: Japanese Wrestling Trip

AJ, will you be seeing Tiger Mask (Sayama), Kensuke Sasaki, Tiger Chung Lee or any of the '70s / '80s / '90s wrestlers who worked the territories or WCW? At this point, it doesn't look likely, unless it's by dumb luck. There's several retired Japanese wrestlers who own bars/restaurants in Tokyo, or...

Re: This LOTR is the perfect example why vendors don't book rare guests...

The only one on the list of rare names I'd expect to do well is Dory Funk Jr and MAYBE Terry Taylor. Who in the blue hell is paying to meet the likes of Eric Embry and TL Hooper? If I was promoting at these kinds of events I'd legitimately use people like Sunny who have been used a lot but are likel...

Re: Japanese Wrestling Trip

Myself and the girlfriend are strongly considering heading to Japan mid next year. We're in a good spot because right now she works casually and my employer is fine with employees taking time off. We're excited to soak in the culture and watch some sumo, karate, visit historical Japanese sites and a...

Re: Rolling Stones MnG - ONLY $12,500 PP!!!

If they allowed you to get 4-5 autographs per band member it'd be worth it. I don't know the prices but surely a poster signed by all Rolling Stones would go for at least 2000-3000 dollars. Sell four of them at 3000 each and you're only out 500 and have your own item to enjoy. This is for super rich...

Re: The Big Event 13, November 4th, 2017

Am I reading this right? Are people suggesting going to Japan for a month to meet wrestlers? Who on this board could possibly get that time off to travel to Japan for so long? You're not reading it right. I listed every show featuring big names for the next month. My suggestion is as follows: - Fly...

Re: The Big Event 13, November 4th, 2017

It's nowhere near as easy as he's making it sound. Shows are less frequent and further away from each other. The best luck one would probably have is around the new year, when most companies are running shows. You'd then have to contend with significant travel within Japan (which is difficult for s...

Japanese Wrestling Trip

Just a question for you guys who need a large amount of the Japanese wrestlers. Why not just take a trip to Japan? I think most of you guys are on the east coast of the USA? Flight to Tokyo from New York seems to run at about 1000 dollars. Go there, visit all the cool cultural places Japan has to of...

yeah Steve, you are a real saint! Mother Theresa has nothing on you! Great, so you've been a big help (with the driving and financial assistance)... well good for you. that's what friends do for each other! But what I find appalling is that you LORD this fact over him! You use this in effect, again...

Re: Class gets attacked in NYC

Wow...where do I start? Well, first of all, I don't mind Class although I'm sure in person he's probably quite annoying to be around. Regardless, a man should not attack another man unless it's in self defence. I don't see Class as the type of strike someone first so this guy has flown off the handl...

I think Class probably inherited a bunch of money (Maybe like two million or so) and is trying to live the rest of his adult life off of it.

Re: The quest to ENTER SANDMAN which led to autographs and photo ops

where is Jeremiah during all this time? I thought he's a die hard Met' fan? As you say, your golden boy needs to be responsible with his jobs. Lars and Kirk both would have required him leaving his day job on short notice (or calling out). Although Jerry could have joined a Master at their hotel th...

Re: Who wants to sleep in Class' car?

All my friends who visit LA talk about how it's expensive to fly to America but accommodation can easily be found for 50-60 USD a night and the food is cheaper. With that in mind I have no idea why Class is deciding to sleep in the car when he can split everything three ways and literally spend abou...
