Wow, that's a great get and from the looks of her other Sears signings, a pretty easy going event to attend.

Yep, Paul Soles is an incredibly rare name and a must-get. He lives here in Toronto and at 87, only started doing conventions a few years ago (2014). In that time he's only appeared at maybe 5 or 6. Highly recommend going to this show and getting him.

Loomis never comes to the northeast
Dude, she's going to be about 2-3 hours from you on September 15th.

(and Novi, MI later this month.)

Mark Strong, a much bigger star than Eccleston, added.
Also added are Mark Henry, Lita, Tatanka, Sarah Douglas and Jack O'Halloran as well as a nice THE LAST STARFIGHTER reunion with Nick Castle, Lance Guest and Catherine Mary Stewart.

DAVE!!!

Great report, Greg. Handlers who act like screeching harpies is my #1 convention pet peeve. The entire experience would be nicer--for EVERYONE--if they didn't act so vile.

Re: London Film and Comic Con July 27-29, 2018

Why do you keep insisting this?
Because every actor has an appearance fee and conventions are now incredibly lucrative ventures. Actors don't do conventions because they "need money", they do them because they *like* money.

Re: London Film and Comic Con July 27-29, 2018

OOF! Dr. Who is GIGANTIC in the UK so his announcement means more to them than it would to us. In that respect it's still a great get for the convention, but yes, incredibly underwhelming given the clues. For a show that really does deliver on guests (check out past lineups!) they dropped the ball o...

Re: London Film and Comic Con July 27-29, 2018

Here's a question, we're all assuming that it's a man (and it most likely is), but are there any women that fit the clues? Sigourney Weaver has done 5 or 6 cons in as many years, Carrie Fisher has passed away, Lynda Carter just did a show, ditto SMG, Gillian Anderson and Linda Hamilton do a lot of c...

Maybe, but to be fair, this particular promoter has brought in MJF, Terence Stamp, John Cleese, Christopher Lambert....

Re: London Film and Comic Con July 27-29, 2018

Yeah, it's salesmanship, sure (They were the first to get MJF and for a year or so, was the only convention he had appeared at). Age might have nothing to do with it, but when you add up the other clues though the list dwindles down fast. An almost ungettable name that's big to geek culture and fans...

Re: London Film and Comic Con July 27-29, 2018

It could be him, but the reason that I would discount Depp is because of the clue that this could very well be the guests only convention appearance ever. At 54, Depp still has, potentially, 30+ years left while some of the other names don't. Arnie makes sense, as he fits all the clues (he's 70) and...
