Re: Ace Comic Con Take 2

Great pictures. Glad you got Evans while you could. I really don't think he enjoys doing cons and is not likely to do many, if any, in the future.

By how things went today, I think over 50% chance that this is the last ACE con
Between the sounds of things and Philly 2016, I'd say there's a 99.99% of never seeing Chris Evans at another con.

Re: Harrisburg Comic Con- June 2-3, 2018- Harrisburg, PA

They had a decent handful of minor celebs for a small con last year. They held it in a vacant anchor store of a mall. It was a good time. The only downside was the time it took for pro-photos.

Ah Leah! Donnie Iris book signing

So I got the word Tuesday night, there was a writer about to release a book about Pittsburgh cultural icon rocker Donnie Iris. Donnie was lead singer of The Jaggerz who scored a number one hit in the early 70's with "The Rapper". With his band, Donnie Iris and The Cruisers he scored 7 Billboard top ...

Re: Atlanta H&V

Nice gets down there. Garber has one of the strangest signatures I've ever seen! PS: Atlanta has a subway system?? MARTA. I rode it straight from the airport to Peachtree Center downtown and with a network of pedestrian skybridges connecting it and numerous hotels and other buildings downtown, I we...

Atlanta H&V

Last week I flew from Pittsburgh to Atlanta for Heroes and Villains. I had been to Atlanta for a couple of Dragon Cons years ago and felt pretty comfortable knowing where to stay and how to get where I needed to go. I arrived Friday afternoon, checked into my hotel, took the subway a couple stops to...

Nice! By the way, Mickey Thomas was also the singer on the Elvin Bishop Group's big hit "Fooled Around and Fell In Love" (as heard in Guardians of the Galaxy).

Very cool pics. Glad you got some great combos. I really love this con. Tip for next time, its much faster to get between the north and south building by going outside instead of fighting crowds in those escalators and bridge.

Why didn't you get the Turner photo op?
It conflicted with other things I wanted and couldn't fit it in.

Taking off to the Great White North for FanExpo

I thought I'd use FanExpo Canada as an opportunity to post my first report. This is the third year in a row I've made the trip from Pittsburgh up for this Toronto con and the second that I've gone with a VIP pass. If you go to FanExpo Canada and you want to get multiple autographs and photos, a VIP ...
