Re: Cut auto cards being sold for 50K

If I were a serious buyer, I wouldn't touch this. The first question is...if you had an enormous autograph set, including 30 US Presidents and other assorted newsmakers and historical figures, why would you sell it on facebook ? There are professional collectors, such as members of PADA, who would b...

Re: What is the lowest thing you or heard of someone doing for a combo

Call it whatever you want.. the “Class & RF discussion forum”, a sub section of the hobby discussion section. So then whenever either pop up, you can just break it off into that section. If they actually did this, that new subsection would be the first thing I checked every time I logged on. :rofl1...

Didn't Class once pretend to be deaf in order to get a picture with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley at a "no photos" booksigning ?

Re: And now for somenthing completely different... Motor City Comic Con

Congrats on the photo with John Cleese. If I'd attended, I would have gotten one too, but dang, the photographer picked a strange angle to shoot from. John Cleese is almost looking down into the camera, and from that angle, his belly looks huge ! :greatscott: George Takai is always fun. Was his husb...

If Stallone is anywhere in the $500 range, I'm in.
You and me both, and we can carpool from Fred town!
Sounds good to me. Let's keep an eye out for pricing details.....

Martel has apparently been offered serious dough on numerous occasions but simply doesn't want to do conventions
Martel was at a Legends of The Ring I attended years ago, maybe 2009 ? But you're right, I don't think I've seen him since.

I enjoyed reading every bit of this. You're making great memories for and with your son. None of my daughters ever got the wrestling bug, but I suppose there's always hope for grandchildren. :hahahanx:

That's a very cool picture with the Salamanca brothers. Worth the extra money since they are holding the props.

Re: Favorite Meets Ever?

I got him to sign my Poseidon Adventure DVD.

It's been signed by all the surviving cast members, 2 of which looked at it and said, "How'd you ever get Gene?"🤣

Hi Zuko,

Sorry, man, I wasn't trying to show you up by posting my Hackman pic and talking about how easy it was to get a photo. I didn't see that you'd already mentioned him.

Re: Favorite Meets Ever?

Great thread! Glad it's been revived. Here are a few of my favorites: Stephen Colbert: Taken right after he'd testified in front of congress, in character from The Colbert Report. I called out to his SUV asking for a photo. He stopped, got out, said, "Let's do this", took the pic and drove away. 1.j...

Re: A Presidential Encounter

John Dingell was a congressman, not a Senator. Now that I have that out of my system, I don't see anything wrong with what Class did here. Bill Clinton is known for signing at funerals. Class is the second person I know who's gotten things signed this way, and Clinton handled it in the same manner e...
