Re: Stars you've never seen a photo exist with...

That is certainly Alda posing, though she has a badge and seemed there in some official capacity, I am still surprised he even did that. Granted old school names are much much harder to find since it was different time, but has anybody seen a Paul Newman? I saw a guy I know that has Madonna, John C...

Re: Stars you've never seen a photo exist with...

Alan Alda has done a number of books and book signings. Must have had photos taken there. I've never seen one. The guy is miserable with a capital MISERABLE. Has anybody seen anything from his book signings? http://www.crgtr.com/Kimi-Alan%20Alda.JPG I think that is something in a professional sense...

Re: Retron

Sounds like #3 zoom/crop, but you'd lose big portions of the screen and miss things like the score/info that sits on most games on the top or bottom of the screen. So it's probably #2 stretch-o-vision, and you just don't notice. Many people feel the same way, they don't mind. Some of us hate it.

Re: Retron

Also to Greg....there is no HDMI cable on my system....just A/V and S Video. Since its an old school gaming system...I am sticking with the A/V. It was just like when I played it as a kid....cept on a larger tv. LOL! Correct, the older RetroN's didn't have HDMI, but the upcoming RetroN5 only has HD...

Re: Retron

Did you play it on a widescreen TV? If so does it stretch the picture or does it have the black bars on the side? The RetronN3 as pictured does not maintain 4:3 aspect, at least not using HDMI output. It upscales everything to 16:9 in the simplest way possible, aka stretch. Some TV's can convert ba...

Re: There's Something About... Cameron Diaz

First thanks to latinoheat for the report. I was tempted to go, I've been to several B&N signings at that store, and it's usually a pleasant experience. It's a monstrous store, and they do the signings upstairs in a large room. So there's usually plenty of room for a Q&A and all that. Plus it's far ...

Great stuff. Was bummed I didn't get to meet Julie Benz (she does get hotter with age) and Candace Bailey at NYCC though.

Re: Can you enjoy an Actor's work if you did not meet him/he

I think it's a similar question to asking if you dislike a performer for his/her political views. I personally am not affected, though I may be more likely to follow them if I had a nice experience. My experiences are usually unsurprising in that respect. Usually you can tell who will be a jerk/swee...

Re: The Backstreet Boys in Towson, MD

For a fan, $150 is a fair deal. I would have preferred something signed with more present-ability than a Christmas card though. Other than the one guy who looks like he stepped off Duck Dynasty they still look pretty unchanged from the 90's.
