The double (or more) Jason photo-op is a neat idea.

Is this show a chaotic one or one of the more “normal” smaller ones ? They always have good guests so I was thinking of making the trip . Was hoping the veterans here could let me know iffyhis is a Rhode Island cob type or a more chilled one ?

It's in between the two extremes - much bigger than your local small horror con, but not as big (or as chaotic) as a RICC or NYCC type show. Best way I can describe it is that it's a super-sized version of a HorrorHound, MonsterMania, Days of the Dead, etc. type show - just with a much bigger guest list. If you need people there, I definitely recommend it.

For travel, it's super convenient, since the con hotel is actually IN the DFW airport, so if you're only planning to be there one day, you can get an early flight in, get a free shuttle (or walk 5-10 minutes through the airport) to the con without having to get a taxi, rental car, or book a room, and then get an evening flight back home.

I've gone a few times, and I always find the show to be well organized, and the staff to be helpful and friendly. Only problem I ever had (which wasn't the con's fault) was massive weather delays on my flight due to thunderstorms.
