That definitely looks legit. Maybe he wasn't so much miserable as old, tired and overwhelmed at his signings. The man I saw there, I never would have taken as a TTM signer.

William has actually been a reliable mail signer for years. I was pretty surprised with the reports from his book signing but I guess it was just the circumstances (crowd) and perhaps age as the factors. At least signing at home, he can take his time and be in comfortable surroundings.
On the other hand, you probably see stars at book signings who are super nice but are probably miserable on the streets for free.
