Writing Columns for the website

Post by lanza218 » December 30th, 2011, 7:09 pm

We have been kciking around the idea of adding a blog/columns section and possibly having some posted on the main page-mostly freestly writing about anything, not limited to wrestling, or meeting, or whatever, maybe even at some point if enough peope write- have a certain number for the main page and the rest forum only.....

Would anyone be up for this? and is this something you people would want to see?

If this get's off the ground and needs an additional columnist, I will even volunteer my services. Maybe I can sway some Canon and Tebow naysayers into enlightenment!

I tried writing a few columns when the site first launched, and I'd be down to do it again.

so, a rough idea of how this would work: everyone is open to writing a column- if possible maybe via the admins vote or a general vote- the best one or 2 would make the main page once a week- keep it clean- since it would be main page viewing---sounds good? Also if people want- could be running diaries for tna/wwe, or a raw/sd/tna report for the shows as well if anyone wants it- also could be on the main page if possible

Wait, so there's a chance I'd spend time writing a column and it would NOT make the front page?

I'm with Class. I'm not writing a column and have it not printed. This isnt a job. I understand you dont want pieces of crap that are badly written to be printed. But then I would suggest you have people submit prior pieces of work or some sort of sample to ensure quality. But having 5 or 6 people submit something each week or 2 and only select 1 or 2....isnt worth my time personally. This was me volunteering my time to help...not waste it to have it not printed.
