The Blu Rays you recently purchased thread
I think this would be a good running thread, especially since blu rays are practically the only non-essential things I spend some money on outside of sex and combos (and even then I try to get things I can get signed down the road).
I recently bought the new "Mind Bending Edition" of Arnold's classic sci fi Total Recall on blu ray, which features a brand new transfer. Also it's probably the best Arnold movie outside of Terminator.
I also bought the Tim Burton Collection from Walmart for $40
It features all these:
1. Batman
2. Batman Returns
3. Bettlejuice
4. Mars Attacks
5. Pee-wees big adventure
6. Charlie and the chocolate factory
7. Tim burtons corpse bride
I am debating if I should return it though. #5 I have no interest in and #6 is ok at best (no idea why Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands were not included). 1 thru 3 are awesome, #4 is good, and #7 is good.
I have the Digibook release of Batman and the single release of Batman Returns. They are still sealed and go for a pretty penny. I could sell those and keep this collection set and make some extra money, while keeping both Batman movies. However, I looked at that digibook on youtube and it looks like a nice thing to get signed (although I do have the vinyl soundtrack which features the Batman logo)
Earlier this year I bought the 300 digi book release, District 9 (which I plan to make a movie critique of down the road), The Searchers starring John Wayne, The new Kino blu ray of Birth of a Nation which features a brand new transfer, and Black Hawk Down.

FYI all those Burton movies are Warner Brothers. Nightmare Before Christmas is Disney and Edward Scissorhands is Fox, so that's why they aren't included.

Re: The Blu Rays you recently purchased thread
Great thread idea Steve.
I picked up 4 seasons of Supernatural on Blu-Ray, as they were cheaper than they ever are, and they had a gift card promotion. Since I love this show 4 season in, it was a no brainer.
Keeping with the gift card promotion, I also snatched up the following about 4 weeks ago:
(never saw Once Upon A Time, but the price I got this for, thanks to a coupon and the sale, made it to good to pass up seeing as I have been wanting to give it a watch. It was much easier than downloading 20 episodes.)

For $15 thanks to Amazon matching the Target $19.99 price and the $5 coupon I got when I pre ordered months ago. I will likely make profit when my auctions close.

Imported the Universal Monster Movies from the UK, as the set was about $60 less even after shipping, compared to it's US counterpart. I grew up on these movies, and still have all the old VHS tapes, so I am thrilled to see this released.
Also got Cinderella & The Great Mouse Detective since I get every classic Disney Blu-ray release to replace my extensive VHS collection.
