Ended up picking the entire Breaking Bad series (individual seasons) for $25. Gotta love those amazon rewards. :skipmaybe:

Found some good blu rays in the $7.88 bin

Annie 30th anniversary (obviously the REAL one not the recent abomination)
TMNT (the 2007 CGI movie)
The Neverending Story (a timeless classic)
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (I like the Tim Burton version but this is another timeless classic)
Dumb and Dumber Unrated cut and The Mask (Jim Carrey double pack)

Back to the $7.88 bin I got the first Terminator on blu ray. Hate the new cover art but never upgraded this to blu ray and at a single digit price one can't complain.

Literally haven't purchased anything since Black Friday, and no plans to do so until the next one. With streaming and XBMC, I can get anything I want easily so I am moving away from the physical copies.

Upon Internet research seems this version is incorrect, so I am going to return it. Apparently the color tint of this transfer is wrong and the original mono track is missing.

I will stick to my 2001 SE DVD for now.

I don't understand why you buy these instead of downloading them. It's not like your tv/audio setup is good enough to tell the difference between buying and leeching.

On my 8 year old TV I can tell the difference between DVD and Blu Ray. So yes, I can tell the difference.

What I view as "worth having in the best form possible" I try to wait till they are between $5 - $20 to purchase them. And I always look at every possible avenue to try and find the cheapest price after shipping (even if looking more saves as little as $1). Basically a download is not the same as having the package in most pristine form.

But for most movies especially recent releases I basically torrent 2-3gb blu ray rips.
