I'm thinking she's the child of one of Luke's student killed by Han's son.

You mean her grandfather's lightsaber....since she is Han/Leia's daughter. She knew the MF. Han felt a kinship with her to offer her a job.

Well the writers have always stated that each trilogy is to focus on the Skywalker family, so she could be either Luke's daughter or Han & Leia's...though I'm leaning towards the former since I think Leia would have said something more impactful to her when they met. As for Luke possibly dying...he very well could, but I believe he'll be in part IX regardless...he'll just be a force ghost like Obi-Wan in that instance.

She's definitely a sky walker. Jedi don't really have sex so it's going to take some explaining to be Luke's. However, it's possible he abandoned her bc he was trying to protect her...

That said if she is Luke's or keias, it's hard to believe they'd abandon her and hard to believe Han or leia wouldn't recognize her..

Be interesting if she was leias, she'd have to kill her brother , which was in the now invalid Star Wars novels..

All this being said, I think she'll turn out to be Luke's. He was there when she was abandoned, there were huge battles fought in her planet, and the saber called to her..plus she has the force to levels an akin seemed to ..

What explaining? Who can tell Luke that Jedi can't have sex? There was no Jedi order after ROTJ so Luke was his own boss therefore could do what he pleases.

Another note. 30 years after defeating the Empire and banging Leia, Han is still smuggling :haeeeh: I would have thought smuggling is beneath him at that point.

The only reason I think it, is because Kylo & Ren look sort of alike, plus you see a young Rey being taken away from someone in that vision. It's just a hunch, but we'll find out in 2017.
If you have read any of books then you know EXACTLY where this is leading to....
