Enjoyed the premiere of Emerald City. A darker yet still enjoyable take on Oz. Can't really see it going past its 10 episodes though. As much as I enjoy D'Onofrio I'm not sure he was a good fit for the Wizard. And the series lacks star power out of his potentially miscasted role.

I couldn't get into Emerald City, but I will probably finish the second hour and see if my opinion changes.

You likely won't enjoy the second ep. It's certainly a different take on the story and far better than the James Franco knock off. I'll see where it goes and hope it doesn't lose what made it good like Wayward Pines and most of this season of TBL.

Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow, Supernatural, Jane the Virgin, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend were all renewed for next season. Constantine returning as animated series on CW Seed.

Still enjoying Emerald City. Granted Wizard is one of those classics I've always been fond of, but enjoying the nods to original while this show forges its ID. Tip's story has me more intrigued than Dorothy's.

i really like that they made it more of a real adult version of oz, some little changes, but some old favorite reimagined.

Kinda interested in Emerald, but 1 hour network series tough for me, too many eps to watch!

Finished both seasons of Amazon's The Man In The High Castle, really, really well done series. I truly can't believe how far they go into the mythos and the "authenticity."

Always Sunny is crushing it this year!

Tried American Horror again, seems every season I get bored very easily...so started the first 3 and gave up...picked up where I left off and it is just horrible IMO. Not funny nor particulary scary, albeit I guess there are some jump scares, but you can see it coming. Im 7 eps invested so i kinda wanna see the payoff, but i leave it on in the background now

YOUNG POPE is exactly what I love about TV. Subversive and high concept.

I agree about American Horror. It's mostly garbage, and Ryan Murphy desperately trying to shock the audience with some stupid shit.

This last season of BBC Sherlock was unwatchable for me.

Enjoying the joker arc in Gotham. Sadly it will end too soon.

Thought Arrow's return was solid. Not bad. Not great.

Is it just me or has this year's network TV schedule been a lot more inconsistent than in past years. Like Empire is off until late March I believe so Star can air. Blacklist has skipped a few random weeks much like I'm used to with SVU.

Anyways...TBL has gotten better over the past month with the impending Redemption premiere.

Emerald City would be near the top of my list now though. I still can't see how they'd extend this past a 10 ep miniseries but they've done a fairly good job telling the story. There are a few gaps I would have liked better explained but this isn't Saul or BrBa so I get it. The Jack/Lady Ev orgasm scene was..let's just say interesting. Still leaning on Tip being the Lion portion of the group.

The scheduling is horrible, but they want their popular shows to air during fall and spring sweeps, so they put in big breaks in between. Back in the day, these would simply feature re-runs. Now they feature new shows.
