Interesting how the performances from Farrell and McAdams are basically evened out by that of Vince Vaughan and Taylor Kitsch.

I think all 4 have been really good. Are you saying Farrell and McAdams are the weaker 2 or the stronger 2?

Colin didnt impress me at all. Very Cliche. Not enjoy Kitch as well. Vaughn and McAdams are killing it reapectively

I love it. Its cool to see Vaughn doing this kind of role.
Does anyone know what Woodrough was looking back at in episode 3 when he was sitting on the bench? It looked like a a pair of angel wings...but the tree was covering it...

The premise actually isn't bad but the overacting and overwriting and the depressing arc of the show did it in. Not an overall fan this year

I had to stop after 3 episodes, couldn't take it anymore. I wasn't alone, this season has been panned in great numbers.

I still have 4 to go. The last episode I watched ended in the massacre shootout. Which was the most interesting episode of the season, but it still largely unimpressed me and only perked up for the all the blood spilled. I am tempted to give up, but I hate giving up on an HBO show with a cast I like on paper. But I don't know, it just doesn't do it for me.

I found the season overall to be good, just very confusing. The acting is amazing, I don't care what anyone says, these guys are giving it their all. The atmosphere is awesome, each episode does what a full length movie would do, set up tone/mood/atmosphere in less than an hour. The shootout setpiece was clearly great, as well as the tense 'house party' scene In the sixth episode.

To me Kitch was weak and Farrell can be so much better. Vaughn strong as always.

100% agreed. The 4 main actors were killing it...even with the poor script. The writers and the director are at fault for the poor production and story.

If the season was good u have to credit the writing.....the finale was terrible amd there was no point to the season...like legit no point.

Yes...but the season was bad. Just because the 4 main actors provided stellar performances, doesnt make the show any good.
