Since today is Friday the 13th, I thought I'd look back on what was, and still is to this day, the most money I've ever spent at a con - the 2011 Friday the 13th reunion show by MonsterMania. Yes, even all these years later, and getting big $$$ guests like Michael J. Fox, Charlie Hunnam, etc. this show *still* holds my personal record for most money spent - and almost everybody there was $20, and I don't think *anybody* was over $30!
In mid-2010 there was supposed to be an epic Friday the 13th reunion in Texas - the infamous "Camp Blood" show, that ultimately never happened, and scammed a lot of F13 fans out of money. But even though that promoter was the scum of the earth, several good things did come out of the ashes of Camp Blood - a couple of shows (Days of the Dead, and a show on the west coast that I don't believe runs anymore) offered free admission to any fan with Camp Blood tickets. And MonsterMania booked a F13 reunion of their own - complete with several rare or first-time guests. The show was in Hunt Valley, on June 2011.
I had so many needs at this show, I drew up a spreadsheet to keep track of all of my various guests. And for the first (and I believe, only?) time, I stayed the weekend at the convention hotel and went to the Friday night VIP party In fact, I had to organize my stuff by movies, since I couldn't really carry ALL of my memorabilia around at the same time, and make multiple trips to and from the room.
Although I had met many of the guests before, I needed almost ALL of them at least once, and many of them on multiples. When all was said and done, I had gotten close to 60 graphs, from around 30 different guests. It was a long, expensive weekend, but I owe a large chunk of my F13 collection to this show, so it will always be remembered fondly.

For those wondering this is AJLe's (for lack of a better word) "report" on Camp Blood: http://forum.markedout.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=15687
It is quite an interesting read and I recommend it.
