Agreed if only a photo totally not worth it....he would have to do multiple extras.

A ticket to his one-man show, a signed book, meet & greet and pro photo for $175 is a great deal.

Besides, did they state not to bring extras to the meet and greet?

There's no graphing there, it's a quick pro photo, and that's it. He could sign extras, still not worth it. It's Rob Lowe, repeat, Rob Lowe.

$175 is high.

Though if I didn't have him, and if I lived in NJ, I would consider this. I've overpaid more for less.

And that's the entire point--people have paid more for far, far less. Again, this isn't a cheap 15 minute Q&A, you are getting a ticket to a SHOW (as well a signed book, meet & greet and pro photo) for $175.

How is that the entire point? Maybe someone paid more for only a photo with and graph-but were a much bigger fan of that person than they are of Rob Lowe. This is all subjective really.
Also, I am not sure if you are a collector or not Gumby (sorry, don't recall seeing any of your stuff), but alot of collectors could care less about the SHOW. In that case, it would more viable to get him on the street, which would cost no money because Rob is nice. Unless of course you are very wealthy and could care less about the money, but most people in this hobby are not .

FWIW, I paid LESS for Alec Baldwin's M&G there, a much bigger actor. I was hoping for a good show, but Patti Smith is an absolutely atrocious interview. No signed book though.

Listen, I don't besmirch anyone for paying the money, but beyond that it's a troubling trend. I really don't care about casual fans, many of which are weatlhy, and don't care about paying. If this were Tom Hanks offering the same (instead of sit down signing), sign me up! Again, it's Rob Lowe. Truly, worth about $50 max at a con for a photo.

How is that the entire point?
Because my entire point has been that this is a good value for what you are getting especially when compared to similar packages.
I am not sure if you are a collector or not..but a lot of collectors could care less about the SHOW.
I am both a collector and a fan. People can be both. As for not caring about a show, that's very sad. It's important to enjoy life. Yeah, we all want the graphs and photos, but if it comes with a night out so be it.

I'd agree with that range.

Just because you consider it a great value doesn't necessarily mean that others do. There is nothing wrong with someone preferring not to go to the show. Maybe the collecting part is their enjoyment. In fact, there have been people on this site who have gone to meet and greets for bands and not gone to the concerts because of the price, and because all they really wanted was the photo with anyway. You really should not judge other people's preferences and how they enjoy themselves.

I have no interest in Lowe, but hopefully the venue hosts more M&G/signing events in the future, since it's within walking distance of where I work, lol.
