Other people signed in public over history, okay, we see that Hitler did, let's move on to others. The superman video is a great find.

I know. I've even posted photos of that on here. Finding video is harder though.

It's interesting to see historical figures signing. How cool would it be if some elderly man in Germany had a Hitler autograph in a book or even a JFK etc.

I've seen James Dean autographs sell for 20,000-30,000. I imagine historical figures would be worth double.

I check Scott Hall's twitter regularly (only twitter I check) and fans regular post old school (pre-internet) pics of him with the fans. Lots of cool pics of him putting the kids in wrestling moves.

The guy in the photo with Piper posted it was from WrestleMania V. Check out the cool Trump Plaza logo in upper right corner.

I remember an old wrestling related website where a guy posted a bunch of photos from WM IV and V weekend OF various wrestlers. Too bad he didn't get any photos with them.

Since Mr. Fuji passed, a number of people are posting photos with him on facebook. Most are 2000s conventions (he did a Wrestling Reunion, LOTR and some California conventions). Sad that he passed away but it's nice we get to see him in the pre-internet photos. I saw one from WrestleMania 8 weekend and a few others. WrestleMania 8 was the coolest and the guy posted a number of other pics with wrestlers from the time period. Those who met him acknowledged him as friendly and warm despite playing the heel. He was a master "ribber" and I'm sure anyone who worked in WWF up until 1996, has a Mr. Fuji story.

Here are some of my favorite, non polaroid photos

Frank Gorshin, it was a New Jersey show featuring Frank, Adam West, Al Lewis, a few other random celebs, Johnny V. and Ox Baker from wrestling. Met Frank walking the lobby after the show. My grandfather would mark out for the celebrities and literally push me into them for a photo.

Joe Frazier, this was a Virginia sports autograph show. IIRC he went to meet Reggie Jackson. He stood at the SCD booth taking photos with everyone for FREE

The real Patch Adams (played by Robin Williams in the movie). This was at a book signing for Mike Farrell's book. Farrell directed the Patch movie. Mike's wife Shelly Fabares from Coach was there. She stood in the back of the book store just talking to my grandfather and another fan the whole time. So nice. Patch took photos and signed his page in the book for fans after the show. He actually lives in the DC area and was the first person in line for a Norman Mailer book signing the previous day. His gimmick for photos is putting a finger up his nose digging for boogers.

EDIT: My pictures can't attach, file too big. Not internet savy enough to fix.

Here's a couple 1998s. Johnny Valiant July 1998, King Kong Bundy February 1998 and Buff and Scott Norton Sept. 1997. WCW was always great when coming to the Baltimore area, with signings for ticket sales and signings the weekend of the show. Same day as this signing was Chris Jericho and my family made both. Not sure why didn't get photo with Jericho.

Thanks, I wish I were more into the photo ops when I was younger. My thing was wrestling autographs. I generally only did photo ops when it was polaroid and only because I was getting an autograph on it. LOL.
At one of the shows I wanted a picture of Iron Sheik, just him. He didn't understand why I didn't want to be in the photo. Self conscious, I guess. He did "camel clutch" photo ops later at the show and I did wind up getting that one, I think because I knew it would be autographed polaroid!
Now I look through binders of autos and am "meh" but the photo ops, really wish I had them!
