Mods....please delete if this isn’t allowed. He could be totally full of shit but be on the lookout to see if this actually happens. If he does, I wish more celebs would do the same.

Re: Bill Murray
a) I think Bill was BS'ing him a bit.
b) Whatever he signs for charity will be done privately and sold off.
The best recent Bill story was they sold M&G's in Chicago for charity. It was organized by this FAMILY. He did a few pro ops then flipped out screaming that "he was CONNED!!!!"

100% BS. Thos was after 3 days of graphers hounding him
Re: Bill Murray
Hahahah that’s why I posted. You guys would know better than me.
Re: Bill Murray
Bill is nutso. Anywho, yeah, so Chicago I heard was a disaster, but Buffalo was even worse. People paid a ton of money for a "meet and greet." Bill proceeded to have drinks among the crowd, oblivious, before they finally got him to do a CD signing. Don't think many even got the CD signed, as he was then rushed out to catch their flight!

Re: Bill Murray
TMZ posted video of Murray signing for $20 a pop in DC. Says the money is going to Puerto Rico. Some dope tried $3. I know every single person on this board would pay $20. Without batting an eye. Also Bill is going to set himself up for trouble with the IRS if that money doesn’t start to make its way if he doesn’t report it.
Re: Bill Murray
was on hand for this. Not specific to this case or Bill, and I know everybody laughs at the GTV Reality videos, but recording celebrity interactions in this way is simply going to make it worse for EVERYONE. It just is.Bud White wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2017, 10:51 am TMZ posted video of Murray signing for $20 a pop in DC. Says the money is going to Puerto Rico. Some dope tried $3. Re: Bill Murray
Love GTV....best thing going as far as street meets go, and it does not seem to hinder what he gets at all. I think it's great that he makes money doing this....I think you guys should have done something like that with all the time you put in...I mean damn its like a job for you guys.
Re: Bill Murray
In this game you can't have both. Either you work a real job, and try to do this on the side without doing something to be fired over. Or you work a joke job, or no job, and do this hardcore. GTV is no angel, there's plenty of video he can't show, due to this behavior. Frankly his Ryan Reynolds shit crossed the line.overthetop17 wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2017, 11:31 am Love GTV....best thing going as far as street meets go, and it does not seem to hinder what he gets at all. Re: Bill Murray
I agree he was very pushy with Ryan, but that is what made it entertaining. I would never have done something like that and kinda felt bad for Ryan, but it was at the end of the day entertaining.
Re: Bill Murray
Honestly there aren't many, perhaps any, active members here who are out quite as much as GTV seems to be, so I think the "it's a job" comment is misinformed a bit.
The style in which he records them is problematic. This is essentially hidden camera and unlike TMZ, where you see a camera in your face, this gives celebrities a false sense of privacy. It's entertaining in the short term, but definitely not a great thing long term, once these people catch on that they're on YouTube in this capacity. It will also paint all fans waiting at these spots in similar "pro" light.
I always knew and admitted that we were leaving proverbial money on the table by not exploiting the hobby, the way GTV is doing. At the end of the day, this is not my job nor will it ever be my job, so I am happy with my role in representing it. If GTV chooses to "tell all" and push the envelope, that's his business.

Re: Bill Murray
He's not the only one recording. There are at least TWO other NYC full timers with hidden camera glasses, although the "Go Pro" guy has retired (got an actual career). I freely admit GTV is highly entertaining, even more so if you have no skin in the game. However, like Radio Man, he can be poison to the rest of us, and it's not some skill he has. If need be, he will hog the celebrity and eff the rest of the people there, including actual fans. I always LOL at anyone who buys his graphs, as often they are bent, ripped, or water logged from his methods.

Re: Bill Murray
Wow don't think I've seen Go Pro guy since I last tried for Priyanka Chopra on a morning show. Does he come out anymore?
As for GTV, I think it gives people doing this false hopes. They for instance see that he gets 30 things from Roger Waters and they expect to go for him and get the same. When in fact if you get one auto from Waters you scored big time. But Gio seems to have some kind of Masterful magic behind his methods. Celebs for the most part seem to have a liking to him and tend to rack for him similar to how they do Radioman (perhaps in some cases to be rid of him for the short term as they know he will go on perusing) plus he also recruits homeless minions he pays $20 to stand in line for Roger Waters to get even more autographs.

Re: Bill Murray
Go Pro is in law school. Like others, he realized getting $5 a graph was a total waste of time. GTV is "favored" by some celebs, mainly musicians, who are his mainstay. However, he plays the race card any chance he gets, ON VIDEO. Radioman is useless. I've seen that guy get his stuff signed like 10% of the time, if not worse. What he gets is probably SEC signed in some cases.
