I am sure this has been a prior thread but just thought I would put this out there. Just curious who was the first celebrity you ever met and how was your experience with him or her.

When I was a teenager, Bam Bam Bigelow did an appearance at a temple of all places. He had a Q&A and the pics and autos were free. He was very friendly and a real down to earth guy. Sad to see him go so early.

A very young and slender with hair photo of yours truly with a great guy...

Technically it was Robert Culp from I Spy and The Greatest American Hero. I say technically because I have no memory, but he was at an auto show in NY when I was like 6, and my father talked to him for 20 minutes about cars before realizing who it was. I guess he was paid to appear but nobody was even going up to him. After that, gosh, not sure, probably one of the NY Giants at training camp in 88-89 era.

My first celebrity was actor John De Lancie (Q in Star Trek The Next Generation) at a very small Star Trek convention in Laurel, MD in 1994.. I wasn't getting photo ops back then but I got an autograph from him that day

would've been my first wrestling show, which surprisingly came to my local town, when I was about 10 or 11. Guys that ran the Montreal-circuit and I would watch every Sunday on TV station CFCF12. Guys I got autos from included Tarzan "the Boot" Tyler, Johnny War Eagle and Billy Two Rivers, Eduard Carpentier, Paul Leduc, Yvon Robert Jr. ... (I know, I know, I'm dating myself here...)

Marc Brown, author and creator of the "Arthur" children books. My parents took me to a book signing at F.A.O. Schwarz in NYC and it's one of my earliest memories. I still have two signed Arthur books and a picture with him.

My first celeb to meet was Randy Franks, who guest starred on "In The Heat of the Night" at my 5th grade D.A.R.E. graduation.

First sports star was NBA player Popeye Jones.

First wrestler was Flash Flanagan. First wrestling personality you'd have heard of was Harvey Wippleman.

My first was technically Dan Lauria from The Wonder Years when I was a kid. My parents recognized him at an Applebee’s and had him sign a napkin since this was a time before smartphones. I don’t actually remember this but I did get a chance to meet him again last year.

The one I count as my first is stand up comedian Bo Burnham from The Big Sick back in 2010.
