Heroes and villains San Jose

Post by Hbklique1 » December 3rd, 2017, 10:31 pm

Hey everyone,

I just got back from Heroes and Villians in San Jose and it was overall a fruitful trip.

Woke up and left at 7:30 to get there by 10. Luckily no traffic so I was able to shave a few mins off and make it early. Signage was easy to find and got my wrist band with the good news being that general admission had already been let in early instead. With that, I made my way to Steven Amell’s line to get the longer line out of the way. Waited about 35 minutes before my turn was up. Steven was friendly as always and talked about mocking as I’m just venturing into wine tasting and asked for recommendations. Got my two figures signed and it was time for photo ops.

I timed it right so all four ops were right after the next. First up was Brandon Routh, quick hello and I was out. Same thing followed for Manu Bennett and Emma DuMont. With Emmashe got a little more time than the others and was great. Next up was Emma who was great and shuttles through quickly to accommodate the line.

After photos were done, I made my way to Brandon Routh’s line to get a figure and pop done. Came up and was great and asked him a few question about the Keto diet and he had talked about it on the Nerdist podcast he did a while back. Got my stuff and went to Manu’s line.

Longest wait for me as he took his time with everyone and made sure they left happy. Time passed quickly as he had some music playing at his table. Got up to him and talked about DeathRace 2049. Afterwards I looked over at Emily Bett Rickards table and she wasn’t there. I guess she had photos and panels til for a few hours. While it would have been nice to get her autograph, I figured I can hope she comes back next time.

She was great! I usually wear glasses and remove them before photos so I don’t get the glare. Apparently my depth perception was off when walking to her. Her photos were the most rushed out the four I did.
