'Buffy' alum Nicholas Brendon arrested
Lieut. Bob Jillson of the Saratoga Springs Police Department told People that police were called to a hotel around 11:30 p.m. for a reported domestic disturbance.

“We got to the room and we found a 33-year-old female there by herself, and she reported that she had been in a domestic incident with Nick, and he had subsequently left before we got there. She did not have any physical injuries that we were aware of,” he told People. The woman told police that she had visited Brendon to give him some belongings and that when she tried to leave, he took her car keys and smashed her phone.

Brendon was arrested after police a few blocks from the hotel and charged with two counts of criminal mischief, one count of obstruction of breathing, and one count of robbery in the third degree, according to People. He spent the night in jail but has since been released.

This is just the latest of several legal run-ins for Brendon. To read more about the actor’s troubles, head over to People.

Sadly not the first time. He's supposed to be at NYCC and Chiller, as well as a meet and greet at a bar on Long Island.

Very sad that he keeps getting in trouble with the law. I'm not familiar with state laws, but is it safe to guess that New York is a state where if a domestic disturbance call is made, the other party gets arrested no matter if there was a visible injury or not? I understand the other charges, but the obstruction of breathing one seems out of left field if the PIO stated there was no physical injury that they were aware of.
