France may follow America's lead by electing National Front leader Marine Le Pen as its next president because they have lost interest in whether politicians tell the truth, the country's leading philosopher has said.

Recent polls suggest Mrs Le Pen will win next spring’s first round of presidential elections, though she is then likely to be beaten by mainstream centre-right candidate Alain Juppé.

But Bernard-Henri Levy, who was once hailed in France as its greatest living public intellectual, said the upcoming election could be yet another case of the polls getting it wrong.

May she win to she can clean up France the way the Donald will hopefully clean up the USA!

French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen said that NATO exists only 'to serve Washington's objectives', and that she planned to hold a Brexit-style referendum, in an interview with a Greek newspaper.

Le Pen, the leader of France's far-right National Front and a candidate for the 2017 presidential elections, is known for her Euroscepticism and anti-immigrant views. Together with France, she also suggested that Portugal, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Greece and Cyprus should also leave the European Union.

"Frexit will be a part of my policy," she said in an interview with Dimokratia. "The people must have the opportunity to vote for the liberation from slavery and blackmail imposed by technocrats in Brussels to return sovereignty to the country."

Marine Le Pen lashes out on the cunt German chancellor Angela Merkel - TO HER FACE - and says that the EU will collapse and she will unite Europe to save it and stop mass immigration!

And she does it to an ovation!

While she is expected to win the first round of French elections, she is not projected to win the second round. Really crushing. That woman is amazing!

Putin endorses Le Pen!

Image
President Vladimir Putin met France's far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen as she visited Moscow on Friday, with the Russian leader stressing that the Kremlin does not meddle in French politics.

"We by no means want to influence the current events but we reserve the right to communicate with all representatives of all political forces of the country, as do our partners in Europe and the United States for example," Interfax news agency quoted Putin as telling Le Pen.

"I know that you represent quite a fast-developing spectrum of European political forces."

The meeting between Putin and National Front party leader Le Pen -- their first, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov -- comes less than a month ahead of the French election, with the first round set to take place on April 23.

Fuck PUTIN. Fuck him. He just ordered the murder of ANOTHER dissenter, who fled Russia to the Ukraine. This man is intent on DESTROYING the might of the US/European/Asian economy. He's an enemy. Le Pen and Trump belong in a gulag with him.

PARIS, (Reuters) - France's presidential race is tightening in its final weeks with a far-left and a conservative candidate narrowing the gap on long-time frontrunners Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, two polls showed on Friday.

An Odoxa poll for Le Point magazine showed 23.5 percent of voters set to back centrist Macron in the April 23 first round, a fall of 2.5 percentage points in a week.

Macron was just half a point ahead of far-right National Front leader Le Pen, whose score was down 2 points.

Right behind them, conservative candidate Francois Fillon, whose campaign has struggled against nepotism allegations, gained one-and-a-half points to 18.5 percent while far-left veteran Jean-Luc Melenchon was up two points to 18 percent.

FREXIT? Marine Le Pen promises ‘EU referendum WITHIN SIX MONTHS’ should she win election
“I give you six months of negotiation, at the end of which you will decide, by referendum, whether we belong to the European Union or not.”

The French presidential hopeful has also outlined a 10 point plan on her website which she wants to implement within two months, should she become the leader of the Republic.

Looks like liberals in France are behaving as they did in the USA after Trump won:

Marine Le Pen's campaign headquarters were targeted in an arson attack, causing minor damage to the building and prompting the Front National candidate to blame leftist groups.

Ms Le Pen said should would press for charges over the attack.

Police said unknown arsonists had thrown a petrol bomb at the building, causing damage to a door and a doormat.

Anti Le Pen protesters not unlike Anti Trump ones
Some protesters threw firebombs at police during the march from suburban Aubervilliers to a Paris neighborhood where Le Pen is scheduled to hold a rally on Monday. Officers responded with tear gas during the small skirmishes.
A banner at the front of the march read "Paris-Suburbs Against the National Front. Marchers handed out tracts denouncing xenophobia and racism that they allege Le Pen and her anti-immigration party represent.

Anti-racism activist Omar Slauti said the fight against Le Pen should be in the streets, not the ballot box, denouncing the "extreme-right populism" that has spread around Europe.
She wants to restore a French identity that she claims has been erased by "massive immigration," mainly from former French colonies in Muslim North Africa.

If the French don't vote Le Pen, they are complete fools that deserve to be wiped out
One of the frontrunners in the French presidential election, far-right leader Marine Le Pen, says she would suspend all legal immigration to France.

The National Front (FN) leader told a rally that she wanted to stop "a mad, uncontrolled situation".

As expected Le Pen wins the first round.

Sadly she is not expected to win round 2. Her opponent is political newcomer Emmanuel Macron. So based on round 1 voting it is at least apparent the French are fed up with the current system. You betray your people, you get elected out of office. Very fitting.

Additionally, her party is expected to do well in local elections. So Emmanuel Macron's rule as president will not go unchallenged.

A socialist mayor whose town voted for far-right candidate Marine Le Pen in the first round of France’s presidential election says he’s considering resigning because he doesn’t want to “dedicate” his life to “assholes.”

Daniel Delomez, who has served as mayor of Annezin, northern France, since 2008, used the derogatory term “connards” to describe his fellow citizens to a journalist from L’Avenir de L’Artois on Sunday.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out :f8you:

liberals don't like democracy:
Police clashed with left-wing demonstrators in Paris on Sunday shortly after projections from the France's presidential elections showed far-right leader Marine Le Pen had made it to a runoff vote.

Police moved in on the demonstrators, some of whom threw bottles and firecrackers, an AFP journalist saw. Three people were arrested, according to police.

It's liberals that always riot, destroy stuff, and threaten violence when someone who doesn't agree with them get elected. Be it USA, Germany, France, UK, etc etc. While I'm certain not all liberals do that, and the rioters may or may not be a representative of the majority, I have yet to see an "extreme right" riot if the election doesn't go their way. Even Obongo got elected twice and there were no such riots as there were when Trump won.
