As expected this was overblown. He went through standard medical procedures for whatever was wrong with him and was never in any danger of dying.

Where you getting that ? The man is in critical condition with no kidney function. This could still go very badly for him.

RIC FLAIR IN CRITICAL CONDITION FOLLOWING COLON SURGERY
by Sean Rueter@s1rude Aug 15, 2017, 1:57pm EDT

Dave Meltzer at Wrestling Observer has provided an update on WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair after a tense day of news on Monday, Aug. 14 culminated with word Flair was successfully though surgery and resting in an Atlanta hospital with his family by his side.

As his manager tweeted last night, Flair’s surgery was not heart-related. He had his colon operated on to remove a blockage which was believed to be causing numerous other health problems, including kidney failure. The procedure was a success, but there are more issues involved. He is currently on dialysis as the treatment team attempts to restore kidney function.

Well when I wrote that I read a report saying he was in "stable" condition.
