His storyline that Mania was that he was involved in a multi-man ladder match for the Intercontinental title, and in the weeks leading up to the show, he would run out to ringside and "steal" the physical IC belt during the champion's matches and run off with it. A few people ahead of me in line, a young child has one of those plastic replica IC belts, with the velcro straps. Stardust kneels down and says "Wow, that's a really nice belt - can I see it?" The kid hands it to him, he does a big Riddler laugh, and runs across the room, and out a side door! Without missing a beat, Cesaro says "I don't think he's coming back, dude."

I finally get up to the group and get my op. I obviously didn't know this at the time, but Cody would ask for his release a month later, partly because he had long wanted to end the Stardust gimmick, so I got one of the few opportunities, if not THE only, to get a fully-suited, in gimmick Stardust photo op! Great memory, especially with Cody becoming so much bigger of a name in recent years.
