Actually facebook blocks are a little more than what you describe. Since you don't use FB I'll try to explain it to you.AJLe wrote: ↑February 8th, 2019, 11:38 am I don't get the psychopathic reaction some people have to being blocked. I'm not on FB, but if somebody blocked me on social media, it would probably be because I didn't like them, they didn't like me, or both, so why the hell would I WANT to follow them and see their stuff?
Being blocked is basically a neon sign saying "we're not friends, I don't care for you or what you say", so people need to just take the hint and move on with their lives.
Let's say you and

Now let's say you blocked Lanza. Now say you post some comments on Greg's page and you have a conversation with multiple people there.
Since you have Lanza on block, this conversation will be largely obstructed to Lanza. He will see other comments responding to "nothing" as he won't see your comments.
The same applies if you and Lanza are part of (let's say) a FB group dedicated to F13th. You can make posts there and he won't see them. Again he may see obstructed conversations.
So FB blocks do more than just prevent someone from contacting you or seeing your page.
On this forum blocks work different. If you blocked Lanza on markedout Lanza would still be able to see your posts, but HIS posts would be obstructed to you.
